On Season 2 of The Story Goes, LAUNCHED TODAY, host Sophia Bianchi continues to explore tales of resilience and self-discovery, revealing the extraordinary within the ordinary. Bianchi aims to highlight the beauty and complexity that comes from lived experiences. Guests from all walks of life share stories about grief, child abuse, eating disorders, wedding planning, career changes, immigration, music, humanitariansim and more, to offer the opportunity to learn from the everyday.
Seattle-based Bianchi started The Story Goes when she was pondering her own executive coaching brand, and the impact she wanted to have on people. It just felt natural to start the podcast to share these personal stories from ‘normal’ people.
“I like narratives that I can connect to and/or feel inspired by. I'm generally turned off by privilege or preachyness.” says Bianchi. “I think people get inspiration from hearing about other people's lives—not just struggles but observations, day-to-day successes, losses, you name it. I love getting to know people in this way.”
The Story Goes is a family affair, with Sophia Bianchi’s musician/composer husband providing the music. Bianchi extends her coaching to her podcast guests, meeting with them several times before taping to develop the arc together and gather as many examples of experience as possible. In this way, she seeks to elevate these tales of ‘normal life’, and give listeners something to remember.
Listen to weekly episodes from Season 2 of The Story Goes starting today, September 10, 2024.
