Girl Talk follows 20-something Mia (played by Hannah Hodson), as she explores the disparity between emotional and physical intimacy, coming to a head when she meets an intriguing couple.

Sour Peach Film's short narrative film Girl Talk receives its New York premiere at Newfest: New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival 2018. Girl Talk follows 20-something Mia (played by Hannah Hodson), as she explores the disparity between emotional and physical intimacy, coming to a head when she meets an intriguing couple. The film will be screened as part of the "Three's Company" block on October 25th at 3:45pm and October 27th at 9:30pm at Cinépolis Chelsea. The screenings are open to festival passholders and individual tickets are also available.
Sour Peach Films is headed by Chelsea Moore & Erica Rose. Taking pride in being queer and femme, Sour Peach focuses on stories about female sexuality, portraits of individuals who are often forgotten or overlooked in mainstream media, and exploring identity within new contexts. The company's mission is to not only be diverse in front of the camera but to actively employ racial, gender and sexual orientation diversity behind the camera.
