Max Fine
Blonde Medicine and Max Fine are pleased to announce the Friday, October 13 release of Max’s debut full-length comedy album I Like His Style, available everywhere streaming audio is enjoyed, as well as on transparent red vinyl.
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Max Fine is one of the most in demand comics in New York City. Recorded at Brooklyn’s Comedians You Should Know at The Gutter, I Like His Style finds Max in front of a fun crowd, positively blasting off. The album showcases Max’s hyperactive pacing of jokes spanning topics like his (frequently high) upbringing in Atlanta and growing up Jewish in the south, embarrassing power stances, and meeting Andre 3000 three memorable times. A dual fandom of boxing and jazz is evident in Fine’s comedy style, which feels both nimble and improvisational, although never under-written - quite a feat.
Describing the album as “nine years worth of stories, absurdities, and overshares woven through the lens of Jewish guilt and shame”, Max paints a clear picture of what it looks like to grow up with, accept, and celebrate his own shame using his silly and self-deprecating humor, which hopefully helps to lighten the burden of the listener’s own ails.
