Thug Passion Presents is a table reading series and comedic interpretation of classic black cinema. Thug Passion Presents is about two comedians sharing their love for underrated black movies, films that are commonly known as “hood classics”. 

It’s about having a blast while performing and breaking down scenes from these movies with fellow comedians. It’s about celebrating the influence these films have had in molding today’s culture. From the moment Courtney and Shalewa kicked off this project, they have received feedback from fans and friends alike. Everyone has strong opinions about these flicks and Thug Passion encourages discussion in all mediums - social media, face-to-face, carrier pigeon.
