NEW YORK, NY - Dec 1st, 2023 - Blonde Medicine is excited to announce today’s release of David Rodriguez’s debut comedy album Not Outdoorsy, available everywhere comedy is streamed and sold.
On his debut album, David shares his knowledge of the not-so-great outdoors, his experiences while raising two kids, and his views on how almost everyone is weird when they travel. The album is a culmination of his entire comedy career so far. Not Outdoorsy was recorded on his birthday in the comedy club he opened in 2021, the Comedy Fort. Audiences of all ages and backgrounds enjoy his high-energy, relatable stories and witty observations.
“I tried my first open mic on January 5th, 2015 and never looked back,” says David. After eight years of doing comedy, David put together all of his favorite jokes and deepest insights (including his thoughts on the lameness of non-alcoholic beer) onto his stellar debut album.
Recorded live at his comedy club in Fort Collins, the digital album drops everywhere comedy is streamed or sold today, December 1st.
About David Rodriguez:
David Rodriguez is a Cuban-American comedian who was born in Saudi Arabia, raised in California, and is currently based in Fort Collins, Colorado. He brings his global perspective into his work as a comedian, comedy club owner, and dad of two kids. In 2015, David burst onto the Colorado comedy scene by winning Denver Comedy Works' New Faces Competition. In 2016, he won the Stand-up Showdown at the Denver Improv, and the next year he won the Comedy Works' Funny Final Four. In 2018, he was in the New Faces showcase at Just For Laughs. He was featured on NPR and has performed at the Altercation, Bird City, Limestone, and High Plains Comedy Festivals.
