Nore Davis

Blonde Medicine is excited to announce Nore Davis's upcoming comedy album, Too Woke, poised for a November 23, Black Friday 2018 wide release. The album will be released in two volumes of 7 tracks each and available anywhere comedy is sold or streamed. 100 ticket-holders received the album on November 9th at Nore Davis's gallery show at Urban Gallery where the album art, designed by Frank William Miller Jr. was revealed and Phoebe Robinson, Damien Lemon and more special guests will celebrate the release with some live comedy, cupcakes and champagne. In addition to the FWMJ cover art reveal, the gallery show included various album covers designed by 11 different visual artists. You can see all the covers at ArtNet (https://news.artnet.com/art-world/comedian-nore-davis-too-woke-artist-covers-1387828).

Too Woke is as disarming and endearing as it is confronting, examining toxic masculinity, white supremacy, the MTA vs Metro North, trans rights, vegan diets, rap egos and the simple idea of not being 'too woke' on account of needing to sleep sometimes. The album was recorded to sold out crowds at Union Hall in Brooklyn, New York early 2018.
