In The Service is a podcast about the restaurant industry from the front of house perspective. Hosts "Kath" and "Jan", are two rad chicks living and serving in New York City with a combined 20 years of serving and bartending experience in the industry, They've seen a lot but they haven't seen it all which is why they welcome a special guest each week who is currently or has previously been in the industry so they can share their experience. Guests range from sommeliers, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, comedians, and business owners. They won't tell you their real names so they can tell you everything else! If you like to eat, drink, laugh, this podcast is for you! There's something for everyone, even gluten free friends!

Katie Howells and Claire Matson are the hosts of In The Service, a podcast about the service industry in New York City from the front of house perspective. Katie aka ‘Kath’ graduated from New England Law School and is now a practicing lawyer by day and bartender by night. Meanwhile Claire aka ‘Jan’ writes and performs comedy with her sketch team, Chico Comedy around NYC and Brooklyn. Katie and Claire met working together at a restaurant, became friends and decided to take their friendship to the next level by starting a podcast together.
