Blonde Medicine is excited to announce the upcoming debut comedy album from David Gborie, Gbirth of a Nation, due out November 1st, available everywhere comedy is streamed and sold.

David started doing stand-up in 2010 in San Francisco because a friend advised him that if he bombed, he at least wouldn’t run into anyone he knew. Now, 14 years later, he is about to debut his most personal set to date. 

 

Recorded in the round in front of a small intimate crowd in Denver, CO, Gborie shares what it’s like to grow up in a house full of women, mocks the emotional nature of “tough guys”, and confesses he believed therapy was a scam (until he cried in front of his therapist).

 

Gbirth of a Nation pre-order is live as of today, October 11th. The album will be available in full everywhere comedy is streamed or sold on Friday, November 1st.

 

About David Gborie:​

Denver-based stand-up comedian, voice actor, and podcast host David Gborie has appeared on NBC’s AP Bio, TBS’s Chad, and is currently the voice of Comedy Central. He is the co-host of both My Momma Told Me and All Fantasy Everything. He is also featured in Adult Swim’s Royal Crackers, Netflix’s Exploding Kittens, and the star-studded music video for George Harrison's My Sweet Lord. David is the proud son of a hard-working Sierra Leonean mother, tips heavy, and has never called the cops.
